Event Passes and Pricing

Preregistration is now closed. Passes will be available at the registration desk during the event.
For those who did prereg we have posted instructions on how to pick up your pass.
All prices are in Canadian dollars, GST included.

NOTES:
  • A limited quantity of up to 150†X-Passes will be to available for purchase.
  • All X-Pass and Event Pre-Registration Pass holders will be given a badge. All at the door Event Passes and all Day Passes will be given a wristband.
  • Children born on or after August 9, 2000 will get free admission but must be accompanied by an adult.
  • As per Grant MacEwan policies, doors to Grant MacEwan Buildings will be CLOSED @ 10PM on Saturday (subject to change) on August 10 (you must be in the building in order to attend all events taking place after 10:00 pm). If you decide to leave the building, you will not be able to re-enter. There will be a designated area for people to go out for fresh air, if needed.


DEADLINES

Merchandise Pre-Orders: June 30, 2013
Deadline for Payments:
  • Passes paid through Paypal: Full payment due on or before July 22, 2013.
  • Passes and/or merchandise by snail mail. Full payment must be post marked on or before June 30, 2013.
  • Passes and/or merchandise in person. Full payment due at time of purchase.
Should full payment not be received according to the schedule above any purchases will be void.

ANIMETHON REGISTRATION FAQ

Can I register at the event?
Yes, you can. Registration day-of will be open all three days in building 107. There will be signage and volunteers to direct you.

Where do I pick up my pass?
All Pass packages will be made available at the registration desk during the event. Those who pre-register before the event will get an event BADGE. Those who register at the event will receive a WRISTBAND, with the exception of X-Pass registration which receives a badge automatically as part of the package.

Badges for volunteers, panelists, Artist Alley, Exhibitors, Media/Press, etc will be available in the Operations room. The room will be announced soon.

Make sure when picking up any type of pass, you have some form of ID to ensure we donít give your pass out to anyone else posing as you. Government Photo ID is preferred, but school ID is acceptable.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Online we accept PayPal. Mail payments accepted are money orders and cheques. We do NOT accept cash payments in the mail. If you wish to pay in cash, you can do so at any of our staff meetings or at events we will have a manned table at such as Calgary Comic Expo, Otafest and others we may go to.

Can you mail my badge to me?
At this time we do not send badges or wrist bands in the mail.

If I paid for only one day, can I upgrade to a weekend pass?
Upgrades will be made available at the registration desk, but we discontinue selling the weekend passes after Saturday.

Can I pick up my badge after the registration desk has closed?
No. You must pick up your badge or wrist band at the registration desk during its hours of operation.
