Moonlight Masquerade Ball
Friday Night

Animethon 21 cordially invites all attendees to join us in celebrating the anniversary of Sailor Moon with our inaugural Moonlight Masquerade Ball. Waltz into the evening with the magic of anime in ballroom dancing.
The Moonlight Masquerade Ball is a formal event, and we encourage everyone to embrace the spirit and come in Cosplay or formal/ semi-formal attire.

Moonlight Masquerade Ball Dress Code in effect
  • Appropriate Attire Examples: Dresses, Kimono, Gowns, Hanfu, Sari, Suits, Tux, kimono, kilts, etc.
  • Jeans, t-shirt, etc. are not allowed.
  • Cosplay is welcome as long as it is appropriate to the theme.
  • Shoes should be appropriate. These include dress shoes, dance slippers, etc. This excludes sneakers, running shoes, sports sandals, dirty or poor condition footwear. Footwear must be worn at all times.
  • As per our policies, not all props will be allowed into the event as per the discretion of Venue security, the Animethon Committee, and the Head of Safety or their delegate.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged, this is a Masquerade Ball after all! (Masks are provided to patrons attending the ball while quantities last).
Get your moves ready for the ball by joining our newbie’s guide to ballroom; a Ballroom 101 class will be hosted by friendly ballroom professionals.

A valid Animethon pass is required to attend. Additional ticketing is not required for the ball.
