Extra Life Edmonton Competitive Gaming

Join in for some fun competitive console gaming! This year we will be hosting a special tournament for “One Piece Burning Blood”, sponsored by Bandai Namco!

Animethon gaming is hosting a Smash Bros WiiU money prize pool tournament on saturday! $5 entry fee with half the prize pool going towards the Stollery Children's Hospital through Extra Life donation. Come compete for a good cause!

Animethon is proud to have Extra Life Edmonton to host our competitive console gaming tournaments! Extra Life Edmonton raises money for sick and injured children at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Playing games while helping a good cause, how awesome is that!?

Since its inception in 2008, thousands of people from the gaming community have pledged to play games to help save the lives of sick and injured children through Extra Life – a gaming event in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Friends and family help support their gamer’s efforts knowing their money is going to stay local and help kids in their community.

Extra Life is open to anyone and makes it easy for gamers to help kids while doing what they love. While many of our participants play video games, gamers are free to play whatever they’d like such as Tabletop games, card games, basketball – anything! If you are interested in joining:
