It's time to level up our fundraising! 

We are excited to announce that for the first time ever, Animethon 26 will feature exciting activities in support of our official Charity of Choice: Extra Life Edmonton, benefitting the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. We couldn't be more proud to team up to play games to heal kids.

Where does the money go?
100% of the proceeds from all fundraising activities at Animethon 26 goes directly to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation through Extra Life Edmonton. The funding supports research and training, purchasing life-saving equipment, and paying for uncompensated care. Let's do it for the kids!

#1. Animethon and Extra Life Edmonton’s First-Ever Live Auction

Location: Large Events Room Salon 8+9
Date/Time: Sunday 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
 
The place to be for the chance at exclusive items signed by con guests and Animethon staff, bargain deals on anime merch, unique experiences, and more! Join our entertaining guest auctioneers in the Large Events Room to bid on some truly awesome nerdy and geeky items. Whether you're a collector or hunting for the thrill of a ridiculously great deal - or just want to watch some of the most amped shopping you've ever seen - you seriously won't want to miss the action.

#2. Race to Planet X

Location: Festival Games - Foyer of Assembly 

The mysterious Planet X has been found! Nishi and Misaki are in a race to be the first to land on this new planet, but they need your support. Help them out by purchasing fuel tickets at the Festival Games booth on the assembly level, and giving your contribution to the hero of your choice. Not only will your fuel purchases help your hero’s chances of winning the race, but the proceeds from these purchases will go to Extra Life Edmonton in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
 

#3. 50/50 Raffle

Location: Extra Life Edmonton Booth, Gaming Hall (Hall "A" of the Edmonton Convention Cen tre)
Date: One draw on Friday and one draw on Saturday
Times: Raffles sold up till daily draw time. Live draw Friday and Saturday at 10:00 pm at the Extra Life Edmonton Booth
 
Fancy winning a giant pile of extra con cash? Extra Life Edmonton will also be holding not one, but two 50/50 raffles at their booth in our Gaming Hall! The raffles will run on Friday and Saturday at $2 per ticket*. The winning ticket will get half of the money in that day’s pot. Why not buy a couple or five? 

*Tickets may only be purchased or redeemed by adults 18 and older. Limited quantities of tickets per day

Extra Life Edmonton raises money for The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation through gaming! This year, the annual 24-Hour Game Day Marathon will be held at West Edmonton Mall’s Mayfield Toyota Ice Palace - with over 200 gamers fundraising for the kids! Stop by our booth anytime to learn more about how you can make a difference.
