Autograph Schedule

A new line up ticket system is being implemented for Guest autographs this year. In order to enter a specific Guest autograph line, a ticket for that session must first be acquired at the designated ticket booth. These tickets will be available in limited quantities, refer to the schedule below for distribution times. Ticket holders may enter the Guest autograph line 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.

The number of tickets made available per autograph session will be at the discretion of Animethon staff and/or Guests. Loitering will not be permitted near the ticket booth or main guest autographs area. Tickets are the responsibility of the ticket holder; lost tickets will not be replaced. Harassment of Animethon staff will not be tolerated and may lead to expulsion from the event.

Each guest has provided their own specific set of rules and associated costs for their autograph sessions. These will be indicated on signage near the autographs area. In addition, Animethon’s general policies on autographs apply to all Guest autograph sessions. These policies are available on our general policies page. Animethon staff will be available in the autographs area to clarify and answer any potential questions. Cash/Debit/Credit payment is accepted. All pricing and offers are subject to change.

IMPORTANT: "Ryu Pass" front-of-the-line access does not apply to autograph lines. Front-of-the-line access is only for Exhibitor Hall access, Main Events, and guest events/panels.
 

Getting Autographs

 

Autograph Tickets are required to line up for an Autograph session in Hall A.  You will not be able to get an Autograph without an Autograph ticket.

1. Autograph Tickets will be handed out at the Autograph Ticket Booth for a specific session at the posted distribution time. Refer to the Autograph Ticket Distribution Schedule for times.
2. Lineups for tickets will not be permitted prior to the Distribution Time posted for a specific session.
3. Limited quantities of tickets will be made available for each session. Tickets are FREE and have no cash value.
4. Limit of 1 ticket per person in line. You cannot obtain multiple tickets for other attendees.
5. Lost tickets will not be reissued or replaced. Do not lose your tickets, or you won’t be able to get an autograph!
6. Please arrive 15 minutes before the session start time as printed on your Ticket and show your ticket to the staff to enter the Autograph Area. If you do not have a ticket, you cannot enter the Autograph Area!
7. Session admission will CLOSE 30 minutes after the session starts. If you are NOT in the Autograph Area after 30 minutes of the session time printed on your ticket, you will NOT be allowed to enter and obtain an autograph, even with a valid Autograph Ticket. Plan accordingly and make sure you are in line with your ticket!
8. You will be asked to show your tickets to staff multiple times throughout the Autograph Area. DO NOT LOSE YOUR TICKET WHILE WAITING FOR AN AUTOGRAPH!
9. To receive your autograph, you will need to surrender your ticket to the cashier at the head table. Without surrendering your ticket to the cashier, you cannot receive an autograph!

Be sure to bring an item to be signed, whether it’s an Animethon Guidebook, blank Shikishi Boards or officially licensed merchandise. All items are subject to the guest’s approval. Some guests may provide items to be purchased and signed, but this is not guaranteed. All items for signing must be officially licensed unless otherwise permitted by the guests.

1. Animethon does not guarantee that you will receive an autograph from any particular Guest.
2. During autographs, items with 18+ imagery and items that suggest adult themes are not allowed unless explicitly stated by the Guest that they will allow it. For example, inappropriate pictures, body parts, etc.
3. Guests reserve the right to decline any autograph related service, such as sketches, pictures, etc. Do not attempt to have bootlegged items autographed. Some guests may have official merchandise available for purchase.
4. Avoid lengthy conversations with guests during autographs. Please keep the lines moving.  Be considerate and respectful of other attendees and their desire to get an autograph.
5. In order to ensure the safety of you and your fellow attendees, we ask that you maintain order while in line and lining up. Any violations will lead to removal from the Autograph Area and your pass revoked at Autograph Staff discretion.
6. Autograph lines may be terminated at any point to keep events on schedule and at the guest’s discretion. Autograph Tickets do not guarantee that you will get an autograph for that particular session.
7. Some guests may have fees for autographs, merchandise, or pictures. Please plan accordingly.

These policies are subject to change at any time during the convention, as determined by Guest Staff, Safety Staff and Autograph Area staff.  Animethon does not and cannot guarantee that you will receive an autograph from any particular guest.
